Chickasaw Banc Holding Company, a bank holding company for Chickasaw Community Bank in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, today announced it has entered into a stock purchase agreement to acquire Oklahoma Heritage Bank, headquartered in Ada, Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Heritage Bank was established in Roff, Oklahoma in 1979. Since that time the bank has expanded to include offices in Byng, Stratford, and in Ada where the bank is now headquartered. The family of Dr. Darryl Fisher has held controlling interest of the bank since 1984. The bank’s total assets were $99.6 million as of December 31, 2024.

I cannot think of a better steward of this financial institution than the great Chickasaw Nation and the Chickasaw Community Bank who will expand the financial services in Ada and the surrounding communities.”

Chickasaw Community Bank was established in 2002 to bring to fruition Governor Bill Anoatubby’s vison of a tribal owned bank to uniquely meet the needs of Indian County and the greater community, and to build better lives for everyone. The full-service bank, headquartered in Oklahoma City, is a leading provider of Section 184 First American home loans in the nation. Chickasaw Community Bank had total assets of $470 million as of December 31, 2024.

The transaction is expected to close late in the second quarter or in the third quarter of 2025, subject to regulatory approval. When the transaction closes, Oklahoma Heritage Bank will operate under the trade name of Chickasaw Community Bank. Banking operations will continue as usual until the banking systems are combined in early 2026.
